THE Labasa football side for the first time will a host a Vodafone Premier League match at Ganilau Park in Savusavu.

Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal confirmed that Labasa will host Rewa at Ganilau Park.

“This after Subrail Park has been closed due to maintenance and they had no choice but to move the match to Savusavu,”Pal said

Pal said this would also give Savusavu football fans to watch a VPL match at home.

“I think it is for Savusavu people as they will have an opportunity watch the VPL match at home,” he said.

The match will kick off at 1.30pm on Saturday.

In other VPL matches this weekend, Ba will host Nasinu at 3pm this Sunday at the Fiji Football Academy Grounds while Suva will host Tavua at 3pm at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
