Injury is part of a sport, says Isileli (Israel) Folau. The former Australian rugby star was taken off the field in his Ikale Tahi Tonga side’s 0-36 loss to the Vodafone Flying Fijians at the HFC Bank Stadium at Laucala Bay, Suva, yesterday.

“Obviously unfortunate with a hamstring injury, but like I said, it happens in rugby and we just got to deal with it,” he said after the game.

“I will work on my recovery and it’s gonna be tough.”

He said after yesterday’s result, the side was going review the game and work towards Samoa next week.

“It’s gonna be tough for us as we build on claiming a spot in the RWC (Rugby World Cup),” he said.

“Today’s (yesterday) is a big learning curve for the group as we try to work on our combination.”
