COVID-19: Fiji Link suspends Nadi and Suva flights
3 April, 2020, 12:33 pm
All scheduled Fiji Link flights between Nadi and Suva for today are suspended.
Fiji Airways managing director Andre Viljoen said the suspension was a result of the lockdown of the capital city announced yesterday.
“Scheduled Fiji Link services are no longer available,” Mr Viljoen said in a statement issued today.
“As with other flight suspensions, impacted customers can rest assured that their bookings are safe. They can visit our website Travel Alerts Page to explore options available to them with regards to their bookings.”
He said Fiji Link aircraft would be used for medical or essential supply runs as required.
“The ATR fleet is also available for regional charter for freight or evacuation services.”
Fiji Airways sales offices in Suva and Nadi Airport have also closed in light of the present COVID-19 situation.
Fiji Airways Reservations Centre is available to all Fiji Airways and Fiji Link customers needing assistance.
