The Ba Football Association has urged all its fans to continue supporting the team despite recording mixed results in the Vodafone Premier League.

The ‘Men In Black’ made a flying start on the resumption of the VPL defeating Nasinu 5-3 and Lautoka team 2-1.

However, the side was pegged back with consecutive losses against Nasinu 0-2 and Nadi 1-5.

Last Saturday, Ba team fought its way from 0-1 down against Labasa to clinch a 2-1 victory with a late charge.

Ba team manager Ranveer Singh said they had lost many senior players in the mid-season transfer window and were on a rebuilding phase.

Singh said many people had doubted Ba’s capability to tackle a stylish Labasa outfit but the players proved themselves on the field.

“Our humble plea to the fans is keep believing in the team.

“We have started the process and it is a long way to go.”

Ba will face Suva in the VPL at the Fiji Football Association Academy Ground in Namosau at 3pm this Saturday. VPL points: Rewa 16, Suva 12, Ba 12, Lautoka 10, Nadi 9, Labasa 7, Nasinu 7, Navua 4.
