THE TISI Sangam School of Nursing will hold its graduation ceremony for 101 students today in Labasa.
School director Eleni Kata said 92 are graduating with Bachelor of Nursing Science (3-year program) while nine registered nurses will graduate with Bachelor of Nursing Science (Post registration) AKA Bridging program (1-year program).
Ms Kata said there has been a demand for their nursing courses.
“We continue to receive hundreds of applications every year but our final intake is around 110 – 115 per year,” she said.
“These are the successful ones who meet the requirements and do well in the interview.
“We encourage young people who have the passion to care for the sick and meet the requirement but are still contemplating their future – please come and begin a career in nursing with the Sangam College of Nursing.”
