“LET God be the judge.”

This was the sentiment of Social Democratic Liberal Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka to party supporters at a campaign rally in Vatuwaqa, Suva on Tuesday night.

Mr Rabuka told supporters not to criticise past governments, but acknowledge what they had done for the country.

“We should respect what they have done,” he said.

“We will do the same. We will acknowledge what this Government has done and we will not criticise them.

“But we will only tell them that we will do better than what they have done.

“Let God be the judge,” he said.

While addressing party supporters at the meeting, Mr Rabuka also pleaded with members of the public to cast their votes next Wednesday.

He said election day was an important time for every Fijian.

“I ask you all to go and vote. Parents please urge your children to go and vote.”
